Powerful Habits of Highly Motivated People

Motivation is the thing that we all need, but very few of us have. And for the most part, any motivation we have is sucked right out of us by the time we’re adults. That’s a result of complacency, brainwashing, and lack of guidance.

There’s a cause why the most motivated people on the planet are overflowing with motivation every day. I persuade you the main cause why they’re so motivated is NOT due to a motivational speech they heard or a motivational video, article, blog post, podcast or seminar they went to. Highly motivated people have these 7 powerful habits, and you should learn from them!

1. They Commit to Their Purpose Everyday

“I determined never to stop until I had come to the end and achieved my purpose.” – David Livingstone

Achieve Success

Commit-to-purposeWhen I didn’t have a strong purpose behind my actions, I was confused, frustrated, lost and had no direction. I’d just play Xbox, browse TV channels and waste a lot of time on social sites. That’s what happens when you lack a real purpose for what you do. When you are aware with your purpose, motivation is easy. Lacking of a strong purpose is the number 1 cause of a lack of motivation. The purpose of Bill Gates’s was to put computers into millions of homes. It was a long term scenario. Had he not had such a strong enough purpose and motivation behind his actions, it wouldn’t have taken place.

Steve jobs’s purpose was to put a great impression in the universe and keep things simple. He has done that and Apple is now one of the top 3 businesses on the planet. Dig deep into yourself and note down what you truly want for yourself. That’s your purpose, commit to your purpose every day.

2. They Surround Themselves with Uplifting Peopleh

“Get clear on what you want then find the people to support you to get it.” – Lewis Howes

Even If you are aware with your purpose, having negative people in your surroundings is risky for your motivation
The problem with negative people is they don’t know their purpose. And even If they know what their motivations are, they permit the negativity to get in their way. That alone can stop you from ever having enough motivation to keep going, work hard or fulfill your goals. Find the right people to motivate you, then kick it into 5th gear and make it happen. Building your own mastermind group is a cool way to do this.

3. They Write down Their Goals

“If you have a goal, write it down. If you do not write it down, you do not have a goal – you have a wish.” ? Steve Maraboli

they-write-down-their-goalsThe magic of note down your goals is making it real for yourself. Writing your goals shows you’re serious about it. The other advantage of writing down your goals is motivation. Before going to sleep, waking up to your goals and always remember of your goals is powerful. The more usually it remains in your mind, the more habitual it’ll become. And when you become habitual of it, you’ll commit to your goals every day without thinking about it. So note down your goals daily and remind yourself of what you’re aiming for to stay motivated.

4. They Challenge Themselves

“To be a champion, I think you have to see the big picture. It’s not about winning and losing; it’s about every day hard work and about thriving on a challenge. It’s about embracing the pain that you’ll experience at the end of a race and not being afraid. I think people think too hard and get afraid of a certain challenge.” – Summer Sanders

TAKE-CHALLENGES
The average person will back down from a challenge, trust me I know. I’ve been that same person who was afraid of challenges. I lacked the motivation and positivity required to overcome my challenges. If you don’t challenge yourself you will never know your capability. Rather than writing 4 articles in a month why not try to write 8, 10 or 12? Or more? Instead of, making 1 professional video in 1 hour, why you not attempt 2 – 3 professional videos in 1 hour? You might not hit the exact number you aim for, but you’ll end up getting more as a result. When you push yourself beyond your boundaries and challenge yourself, you’ll learn a lot about what’s possible. And when you learn about what’s possible, that knowledge will motivate you.
