Advertising Mistakes

Marketer is the one that deals in a market, specifically one that promotes or sells a product or service. Adverts evoke creativity and humor. Sometimes people overload the ad, perceive just too much advertising. This advertising’s constant interruptions cause significant frustration in people.

There are several marketing mistakes:

  • Poor Targeting-Not establishing a target market will often result in a poor response from consumers, or no response at all
  • Deceptive Claims- Negative comments arise when claims don’t match the product expertise
  • Constant Interruption- The frequency and duration of advertisements frustrate people
  • Poor quality Creative- Bad use of music and audio is the particular source of irritation
  • Insensitivity & Selfishness- Adverts that don’t reflect society’s concern trigger frequent negativity
